Leo Frames. Brighton Picture Framers and Print Gallery
Update May 2025
Leo Frames is a lively print shop and gallery at 70 North Road, Brighton, run by the brilliant duo Kate and Steve. They’ve been supporting local artists for years and started selling my prints back in 2012. Together, they’ve built a welcoming space that showcases a curated selection of open and limited edition artworks, by both emerging and established artists. Alongside the artwork, they offer a top-quality custom framing service—always with care, skill, and a personal touch that reflects their passion for what they do.
You can read Leo Frames entry blog from 2012 introducing me as an artist along with a selection of my very first art prints they sold.

A Walk Through the North Laine
Leo Frames is the the heart of the North Laine in Brighton. If you’ve ever wandered through it, you’ll know it’s more than just a shopping area—it’s a tangle of creativity, colour, and character. Just up the road from the station, it’s where I first discovered Leo Frames back in 2012, a print shop run by Kate and Steve that’s been selling my work ever since.
The North Laine is full of independent energy—vintage clothes, second-hand books, handmade ceramics, screen prints, vegan bakeries, and more than a few eccentric window displays. It’s the kind of place where you can lose track of time browsing, sketching, people-watching, or sipping coffee in a sunlit corner.
For artists, it’s always been a bit of a magnet. There’s inspiration on every corner—bright-painted shopfronts, stencil graffiti, music drifting from open doors. It feels alive and local in the best way, and for me, it’s been a key part of finding my creative community in Brighton.
