Museum Buddies by alej ez Art
There’s something quietly joyful about going to a museum with a friend. It is mainly about the art, though there is more: with a friend, it’s about growing together, creating memories and bonding, exploring an artist’s work with a second pair of eyes, sharing knowledge and learning — and then, often, time spent in blissful silence, a communion of souls in shared contemplation.
Each print in this series tells a little story; often very personal, from places I know and love, filled with small moments that matter.
A Day Out with My Bestie at Pallant House Gallery
A quiet garden, a bright afternoon, and that feeling of being exactly where you want to be—with someone who gets it. Pallant House in Chichester always feels special. This print is a nod to those peaceful art days that start with a train ride and end with a sketchbook full of ideas.
Found Love in Books, London British Library
This one’s for the bookworms and the romantics. Tucked among the shelves of the British Library, two people cross paths. Maybe they’re both looking at the same map or graphic novel. Maybe they’re not expecting to fall in love—but art and books have a funny way of bringing people together.
An Artist on the Terrace of De La Warr Pavilion Looking out to the Sea with a Cup of Tea and a Cake
Sometimes, you need a solo moment. But even in solitude, there’s a kind of companionship—with the view, with the building, with the ever-present gulls. This print captures a moment of quiet reflection, sun on your face, sketchbook balanced on your knee, cake in hand.
A Young Artist and the Curious Rook at Charleston in Lewes
Charleston always feels alive—with history, with stories, with the spirit of making. In this print, a young artist meets a bird who seems to want to join in. It’s about curiosity—both human and feathered—and that magical feeling of being part of something bigger.
Young Friends at Hastings Contemporary
Bright walls, bold art, and the sea just outside. This print is about two young people seeing something new together—maybe laughing at a sculpture, or disagreeing over what something means. Either way, they’re learning something about art, and about each other.
London Royal Academy: Tea and Cake at the Café with an Art Friend
Because every good gallery trip ends in the café. This print celebrates the wind-down chat—the moment you both compare favourites, share sketches, maybe even plan your next trip. It’s warm, relaxed, and full of crumbs.
Museum Buddies is about those little rituals we build around art. It’s about making memories in quiet corners of galleries, and how friendship and creativity feed each other. If you’ve ever been the person who says “Let’s go see this show,” or stayed too long in the gift shop chatting about what you just saw—this one’s for you.
