Charleston House was the country home of artist Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant. For more than sixty years they work in their domestic interior with the imprint of their modern artistic creative interests. Charleston is now a trust that holds the famous festival, which each May invites artists, writers, thinkers and changemakers to discuss the best in art, literature, ideas and politics, past and present, just as the Bloomsbury group did around the Charleston dining table. And recently, designed by Jamie Fobert Architects, a new extension building provides space for events and art exhibitions
Bloomsbury Group.
