Still Life Garlic

My approach to creating a still life develops for the study of a meditated clean composition and a harmonious arrangement of the subject matter. Once these parameters are set my focus is creating a strong graphic representation with a cohesive colour palette.

Garlic print

Domesticity, subjects related to the place we inhabit, become part of who you are. There has always been garlic in the kitchen since I was a child, even for breakfast spread on toast with olive oil and tomatoes. Garlic is one of the ingredients of sofrito, which then makes the base for many meals in Mediterranean cuisine. In art, we can look at the sublime and the mundane, and this print focuses on the second one, as a humble celebration of food and living.
