Paper Toy Theatre Inspired by Bathers by the Pond Duncan Grant Charleston

Travel back to 1920 and imagine yourself as a bohemian friend of Duncan Grant, basking in the summer heat while bathing at the pond in Charleston.
This serene moment was immortalized by Grant in his renowned painting ‘Bathers by the Pond,’ currently held in the collection of Pallant House Gallery.
You can now recreate this picturesque scene with our set.
Please note that to construct this model, you will require a scalpel, scissors, and PVA glue.
Begin by cutting out the background base and landscape. Before gluing, fold the landscape, ensuring to make incisions along the reeds away from the corners to maintain their solidity. Then, proceed to glue the different slips. Your main set is now complete! While the glue sets, finalize by individually cutting out the various
characters with scissors. Don’t fret about perfect accuracy;
simply arrange, display, and glue them onto the stage as desired.

A4 size 29.7 x 21 cm (11.7 x 8.3 in) printed design to make your own paper toy theatre and A6 instruction.
