Pine Trees by the Sea at Brunswick Square Brighton

Print description

Time goes by on summer evenings as you watch the sunset-kissed top floors of the bow-fronted Georgian terraced houses in Brunswick Square, Brighton. The elegant Mediterranean pine trees, the path to the sea, and the wrought iron bench invite you to stop, take a deep breath, look up at the sky, and think about life and stuff.

The gardens were provided for the residents of the surrounding houses. Houses that have sought after sea-views provided by typically Brighton bow fronted houses.

The Regency Town House

The Regency Town House is a grade 1 listed terraced property c. 1820s, built as a part of architect Charles Busby’s ‘Brunswick Town’ estate.

Today, the House is being developed as a museum and heritage centre with a focus on the architecture and social history of Brighton & Hove between the 1780s and 1840s.
