Brighton Seafront Steps Down to West Pier Sky Blue
Print description
Turquoise railings line the seafront, their ornate panels of dolphins and shields catching the light like something out of a fairytale. The colour feels almost too bright to be real—somewhere between sea-glass and sky—glowing against the soft cream of the paving stones.
Steps lead quietly down to the beach, where sand and water meet in warm, muted tones. In the distance, the skeletal remains of the West Pier hover on the horizon, faded and delicate, tinted with greys and soft rust, like an old memory floating on the sea.
Above, the sky is washed in cool blues and soft whites, with a pair of gulls drifting gently past. The whole scene feels light and open, as if time has slowed down just for a moment.
Historic Brighton And Hove
This print shows the quintessential Brighton and Hove beach huts with the background of Adelaide Crescent, one of the grandest open crescent that are so unique to Brighton . Building work started in 1830 to the design of Decimus Burton but was not finished until 1860. Together with the Kemp Town and Brunswick Town estates, the crescent is one of the foremost pre-Victorian residential developments in the Brighton area
