Beautiful was my love, yet melancholic – Fernando Pessoa-
I visited Rome a year ago and specially did add to my itinerary places where Antinous memory is still felt. I also prepared my trip by reading ‘Memoirs of Hadrian’, a novel by Marguerite Yourcenar which is an absolute delight.
Antinous was a Greek youth from Bithynia and a favourite and lover of the Roman emperor Hadrian. Hadrian being from Hispalis, Seville, my city in Spain makes all this feel very close to my heart

I created this print from my original ink drawings to which I apply colour digitally. Printed on fine art paper using archival inks. I issue the formats A0, A1 & A2,A3 and A4 as limited editions of 100 where I individually sign and number each print.
