Description
Seven Sisters Cliffs Walk Brass Point Amber
Print description
Aerial perspective view of Haven Brown Towards the East with Birling Gap and Belle Tout in the distance. Brass Point is the third of the Seven Sisters when you travel eastwards from Cuckmere Haven. The name of the cliffs as the Seven Sisters Park is due to the seven hilltops that make up the silhouette of the cliffs. I have done this walk in all weathers, always in awe of the magnificent scale of this stunning landscape. Towards the end is Birling gap with a lovely National Trust vintage book shop where I always find a readable treasure. On the horizon the Belle Tout stands on the heights before Beachy Head, which is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain. At 530 feet high, the vertiginous cliffs provide magnificent imposing views. This is a portrait format edition with additional line work for the subject in the distance and a colour scheme that reflects my Amber Colourway collection of prints.
