These two characters, who used to own some of the objects now displayed at the Egyptian Gallery at Brighton Museum have come back to life.
And here they are at Pavilion Gardens by the main entrance of Brighton Museum. Both of them wearing their best summer outfits and for their special occasion, having a picnic with their best china.
Their meeting place is one of Brighton Favourite spots, Pavilion Gardens by Brighton Museum.

I created this print from my original ink drawings to which I apply colour digitally. Printed on fine art paper using archival inks. I issue the formats A1 & A2,A3 and A4 as limited editions of 100 where I individually sign and number each print.
Brighton Museum
Brighton Museum & Art Gallery is located in the Royal Pavilion garden, at the heart of the city’s cultural quarter. Its diverse collections bring together the arts and history to tell stories about the city and the world we live in. The art collection is spread in different buildings throughout town. Each with their own unique cultural offer. Royal Pavilion, Brighton Museum, Booth Museum, Hove Museum and Preston Manor. In this print you can see the main entrance to the Museum.
The Egyptian Galleries at the Brighton Museum
Did you know there is an Ancient Egypt Gallery on the ground floor of Brighton Museum?
Born in Brighton, Francis Llewellyn Griffith (1862-1934), became a famous Egyptologist. Many of the times displayed in this gallery were found by him. But ultimately it was thanks to his brother Arthur, a Brighton solicitor and alderman, that Brighton Museum received the pieces.
One of the most singular objects in the gallery is a cosmetic palette which still has traces of ground green eye-paint on the surface. Francis discovered it in the early 1900s at Faras, in Nubia, in a burial probably dated between 3500 and 3000 BC
